Update Climbs
This feature downloads updated climb data from The Blue Alliance (TBA) and applies it to your local match records. Turn on permissions to download multiple files at once.
When you click Update Climbs, the system will:
- Download two files:
- Change Log: A summary of what changed
- New Match Data CSV: Updated with new climb scores and total scores

Defense Ranking
The defense ranking measures how effectively a team plays defense against their opponents.
How It's Calculated
For each match where a team plays defense:
- Calculate the EPA of the opposing alliance
- Compare this to the actual score the opposing alliance achieved in the match
- The difference is the defense impact for that match
- The defense ranking is based on the average impact across all matches
- If an opponent robot died in the match, the robot's defense isn't taken into account
Interpreting the Numbers
- Higher positive numbers mean the team is more effective at defense
- Negative numbers suggest the opposing alliance scored more than expected
- Rank shows how the team compares to others who play defense
